Discipleship e-Counseling - Finding God's Will

We are a pastoral e-counseling and e-coaching ministry offering Biblical-based discipleship help. Ministering to people as they seek to apply biblical principles to their personal and spiritual problems we offer a Biblical e-Counseling approach that emphasizes grace, Christ-as-life, and finding God's will for your life during dificult circumstances.
Our Online or disciplehsip e-counseling, as it is sometimes called is provided via telephone or video counseling, or online chat/video chat.
Discipleship e-counseling offeres many advantages to traditional face-to-face counseling such as greater confidentiality, convenience, no time or cost spent traveling, and you can stay in the comfort of your home or office. Online counseling can also be beneficial to those who are home-bound like the elderly, the disabled, or those who simply live too far from a counseling facility.
Counseling sessions are generally held weekly. Using the phone to talk with a counselor is not much differenct than what you could expect from an office visit.

Discipleship e-Counseling Process
A trained There Is An Answer Counselor meets via telephone or video phone with an individual or married couple that is struggling with a difficult life circumstance. Traditionally referred to as counseling, this process becomes an in-depth, personalized discipleship in which the truth is taught in such a way that the person is set free from the bondage produced by rejecting life experiences.
As Christians we have the opportunity to walk in victory in Jesus - no matter what our circumstance. The victorious Christian life, however, does not come to us naturally or automatically when we are saved. It is the result of a deep and abiding relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ developed over time. This relationship develops as we read God’s Word, listen to the Holy Spirit and as we put God’s Word and principles to practice in our life. Christians learn to walk in victory in Christ, but not without practice, mistakes, failure and then successes.
Our discipleship programs and materials are designed to teach, lead, and exhort individuals through God’s Word and principles of renewing the mind, living out our identity in Christ, living a surrendered life, abiding in Christ, and walking in forgiveness. As these steps are completed old fleshly behaviors and emotions begin to disappear. Individuals make godly choices resulting in healthier behavior where emotions and relationships are restored and renewed.

Discipleship Model
Ministering to you as you seek to apply Biblical principles to your personal and spiritual problems we offer a Biblical Counseling approach that emphasizes grace, the Exchanged Life Counseling teachings and the character of God.
The term Exchanged Life was first coined by Hudson Taylor. Hudson Taylor was born in 1832 and began his missionary work in China in 1853. Raised by godly parents he was saved at 17 years of age and was immediately burdened to save others. He abandoned his life first to God and then studied and prepared to go to China.
He was a laborer, a man of great faith and devotion to God, a practical man and a great leader. Hudson Taylor struggled with great tragedy and deep loss his entire life, including the loss of two wives and several children. He suffered with serious health problems most of his life, including paralysis for a time, lack of people and funds for the mission, and endured harsh living and traveling conditions in a foreign land.
Hudson Taylor’s secret to overcoming his many struggles was a life lived in faith totally abandoned and surrendered to the Lord. All his trials made him stronger and his trust in the Lord continued to grow. No trial ever stopped his rejoicing in the Lord. He abided in Christ and bore the resulting fruit in his life and missionary work. The foundation of the mission was built on God and not Hudson Taylor. As a result the organization he founded, China Inland Mission, still exists today.
The term Exchanged Life means walking in the Spirit rather than walking after the flesh. The question becomes are you relying on your efforts and resources or the power of the Holy Spirit to guide and direct your life?
Exchanged Life discipleship is helping others understand and experience that Christ can be their source of life in the midst of their difficult circumstance. The overall goal of Exchanged Life discipleship is to aid in spiritual maturity to such an extent that spiritual truth becomes experienced reality.
The Exchanged Life discipleship model includes the following tenants:
- Man is born with a fallen nature, separated spiritually from God.
- At salvation, man receives a new Spirit, the Spirit of Christ, or the Holy Spirit and the old nature (spirit) is dead (Gal 2:20).
- The flesh or old ways and strategies of getting basic needs met still remain, as does the power of indwelling sin. (Romans 7:20-25)
- As believers, man has a choice to walk after the flesh or in the Spirit.
- A believer walking after the Spirit will bear fruit (Gal 5:23; John 15).
- In order to live the Exchanged Life the believer must renew their mind (Rom 12:2), know who they are in Christ, live a life surrendered to the Lord (Luke 9:23), walk in forgiveness (Col 3:12,13), and abide in Christ (John 15).

Discipleship Counseling Strengths
Those who have received our services tell us that the most compelling strength of the Discipleship Counseling model is that it depends on the Word of God and not man. The process works and is very successful when the individual is interested in God's solution for their problems.
Knowing and living the message is required by the discipler. No one wants to find their way down the treacherous mountain with a guide who doesn't know the way. Individuals with spiritual gifts such as exhortation, teaching, and mercy usually make great disciplers. They are able to place themselves in the situation of the person they are discipling and then guide and encourage them each step of the way.
The most exciting thing about this model is the results that it produces. Inner transformation performed by God is lasting and brings about godly thinking which leads to godly behavior and healthy emotions. Relationships are restored and life is lived with a new fervor based on God's will for their live
