God Is Real

If you answered yes to any of these questions or you do not personally know God, then you need to know that God is real, He does love you, and He wants to have a personal relationship with you.

because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. Romans 1:19-20

We love, because He first loved us. 1 John 4:19

For Thou didst form my inward parts; Thou didst weave me in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to Thee, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Thy works, And my soul knows it very well. Psalm 139:13-14

Personal Relationship With God

Please know that you will not be complete or fulfilled and your life won't have meaning until you have a relationship with the One who created you. Your sin currently separates you from God, but God, sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die on a cross so that you would have forgiveness for your sin and be restored to God.

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16

Jesus answered, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born again.' The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know here it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit."

John 3:5-8

Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life' no one comes to the Father, but through Me." John 14:6

Born Again

If you would like to have a personal relationship with God, you too, must be born again. You must receive Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. If you would like to have a personal eternal relationship with the One who made you and loves you unconditionally tell Him in your own words or use this sample prayer:

Sample Prayer: God in Heaven, I don't know you, but I want to. I can't make my life work on my own. I need you and your Son, Jesus Christ. I receive Your Son, Jesus Christ, as my personal Savior. I believe He died for me, taking my sins onto Himself when He died on the cross, giving me access to You. Thank You for forgiving me, sending the Holy Spirit to transform my life and giving me eternal life. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

If you prayed that prayer, then congratulations, you are now a child of God, you have everlasting life, and you have the Holy Spirit abiding in you to guide, direct, and transform your life.

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. John 1:12

Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God; and whoever loves the Father loves the child born of Him. 1 John 5:1

that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not behold Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you, and will be in you.

John 14:16

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you. Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful. John 14:26-27

By this we know that we abide in Him and He in us, because He has given us His Spirit. 1 John 4:13

In that day you shall know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. John 14:20

These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, in order that you may know that you have eternal life. 1 John 5:13

A New Creation

As you begin your new life in Christ, it is important that you:

• Read and study God's Word, the Bible.
  The Book of John is a great place in the Bible to begin reading.
  
  All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16

• Talk to God - pray daily.
  Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
  
  pray without ceasing 1 Thessalonians 5:17

• Join a Bible-based Church and seek solid Christian friends to share in your new life.
  Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. 2 Corinthians 5:17
  
  Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. Colossians 3:2-3
