Scriptures For The Hurting

As you are working through your difficult time whether it be the loss of a loved one, job loss, marriage breakup, difficulties with children or friends, or you feel apart from God we hope and pray that these Scriptures will speak to your heart about how much God loves you.
For Thou didst form my inward parts;
Thou didst weave me in my mother’s womb.
I will give thanks to Thee, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Wonderful are Thy works, and my soul knows it very well.
My frame was not hidden from Thee, When I was made in secret,
And skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth.
Thine eyes have seen my unformed substance;
And in Thy book they were all written,
The days that were ordained for me when as yet there was not one of them.
How precious also are Thy thoughts to me, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!
If I should count them, they would outnumber the sand.
When I awake, I am still with Thee
Psalm 139:13-18
God loves you and you are not here by chance but because God,
the Creator of the Universe, wants you to be here now.
Just think,
You’re here not by chance, but by God’s choosing.
His hand formed you, and made you the person you are.
He compares you to no one else – you are one of a kind.
You lack nothing that His grace can’t give you.
He has allowed you to be here at this time in history to fulfill
His special purpose for this generation.

The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love. 1 John 4:8
We love, because He first loved us. 1 John 4:19
God’s Plan For You
For I know the plans that I have for you declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for calamity, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:11- 13
Immanuel – God With Us
But now, thus says the Lord, who created you,
O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel:
“Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by your name; You are Mine.
When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you;
And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.
When you walk through the fire,
you shall not be burned,
Nor shall the flame scorch you. Isaiah 43:1-2
I will give you the treasures of darkness
And hidden riches of secret places,
That you may know that I, the Lord,
Who call you by your name,
I Am the God of Israel. Isaiah 45:3
“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me,
Because the Lord has anointed Me
To preach good tidings to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives,
And the opening of the prison to those who are bound Isaiah 61:1
For your husband is your Maker,
Whose name is the Lord of Hosts;
And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel
Who is called the God of all the earth Isaiah 54:5
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.”
Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler
And from the perilous pestilence.
He shall cover you with His feathers,
And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
Nor of the arrow that flies by day,
Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,
Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.
A thousand may fall at your side,
And ten thousand at your right hand;
But it shall not come near you.
Only with your eyes shall you look,
And see the reward of the wicked.
Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge,
Even the Most High, your dwelling place,
No evil shall befall you,
Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;
For He shall give His angels charge over you,
to keep you in all your ways.
In their hands they shall bear you up,
Lest you dash your foot against a stone.
You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra,
The young lion and the serpent you shall
trample underfoot.
“Because he has set his love upon Me,
therefore I will deliver him;
I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble;
I will deliver him and honor him.
With long life I will satisfy him,
And show him My salvation.” Psalm 91
